Week 19

IT'S CHRISTMAS!!!  I know I'm a day late this week with my picture, but yesterday was such an exciting day with it being Christmas and all that by the time we got home I was too tired to tell Mommy what to write.  But, today I'm so excited to tell you all what I got yesterday from Santa.  I got clothes, and some toys and a new Violet doll.  She's my favorite new friend.  Oh, and Aunt Erin got me a really cute raccoon all the way from New York.  I got a really special blanket from Auntie Terri, and all kinds of fun toys.  Mom keeps telling me how in a few years I'm going to be super excited about Santa coming and all the stuff that happens around Christmas time.  I'm still pretty tired from all the excitement this weekend so I think I'm going to go take a nap.  Merry Christmas everyone!!

I'm really close to rolling over.  Maybe this week!!

Thanks for helping Uncle Greg!!

Week 18

Christmas!!  Ok, lets be serious, I don't really know what Christmas means just yet, but Mom and Dad are making a really big deal about it.  First they brought a tree inside!  Then they put all these pretty lights and glass balls on it.  Then, they other day, Mom was going crazy putting paper all over these boxes.  She's been blasting music and keeps telling me how she's so excited for Christmas's to come.  Anyways, here's my 18 week photo!

Mom even gave me this yummy looking candy cane to hold onto.

Outtakes:

"Mom, look what I can fit in my nose!"

"Um...hey!  You.  Can you take the wrapper off this so I can eat it.  Please!"

Maybe I will be a baton twirler when I go to high school.

Week 17

Mom said it's a big week this week.  Bears v. Packers!  In all fairness Mom used Bears fabric this week.  The last time the Packers and Bears played Mom used the Packer fabric that Grandpa gave me.  As soon as Bubby saw that she knew she had to make sure the Bears fans in our family were fairly represented.  She literally went out after work to buy me this fabric and dropped it off the same night (with pizza for Mom and Dad; she's so sweet!).

If you ask me, all this hub-bub about football is just silly.  I'm playing the bipartisan member of the family.  I don't really care who wins as long as everyone is happy and I get fed :O)

Outtakes:

Practicing my hand-eye coordination.

"Hey guys...I'm open.  Throw me the ball!"

Who needs Football?  I'm practicing my cheer leading, hand on hip, moves.

Week 16

This weeks fabric came from Mom and Grandma's friend Deb.  I actually got to hang out with her on Thanksgiving.  Deb and her Mom, Max, drove all the way from Freeport to spend Thanksgiving with us!  Deb said she got me this fabric because it had sheep on it.  Her brother owns a farm with all sorts of animals.  Mom said I can meet them all someday when we go to the fair!  Oh, and Mom said that she can't wait to have a funnel cake when we go.  She's silly!

Outtakes:

I've been loving my hands these days.  I just chomp and chew on them all day long.  It gets my shirts all slobbery but I sure do love them!

Ruby wanted Mom to take her picture too.  I said I didn't mind sharing my photo session with her.

Week 15

This weekend my Daddy is going deer hunting with Grandpa, so Mom knew we HAD to use this fabric from Jamie this week.  She's a big hunter too and Mommy said she got a wierd looking deer this year!!  Daddy said he's going to get a big big deer so I can't wait to see what he brings home!

Outtakes:

"Look Daddy, the big one is right over there!!"

"Pee-you!!  I think there is a skunk around here!"

Week 14

You're gonna eat HOW MUCH Momma??

This week is Thanksgiving so I'm sure you can guess why Momma picked this fabric.  It's another one from Grandma.  She really set me up good.  I can't wait to see the quilt she is going to make with all of the pieces for the whole year.

Outtakes:

"Popeye the Sailor Man!"

My crazy face.  This one nearly made the cut for the weekly photo.

More Yoga.  Look, I can almost cross my toes together.

Week 13

Mom said it snowed today.  I really don't know what that means since I've never seen it before, but it seems to be a big deal.  Thanksgiving is just a few weeks away so Mom used this scarecrow fabric.  It came from Grandma.

Outtakes:

My "lemon" face...or kisses for Mommy.  Mom said this one would have made the official picture if I hadn't wrinkled up the fabric so much.

I can get really big if I want to.  I just wanted to show off my chunky legs to ya'll.

Puffer-fish!

Week 12

This week's fabric came from Mom.  She picked it out a few days after I was born (after she got out of the hospital of course).  Once everyone knew I was a baby girl they went CRAZY with the pink stuff.

Check out those rolls!! Mommy must be feeding me whole milk!

Outtakes:

Practicing for high tea....I'm dainty!

I can't help but laugh when all these adults keep sticking their tongue out at me.  They look so funny.  Sometimes I copy them and stick mine out too.  They think that is hilarious (and so do I!)

"Mom...how long are we going to do this for?  We've been taking these same pictures EVERY week."

Week 11

Happy Halloween everyone!!

Don't you just love my fabric for this week?  Beth got it for me and Mom was saving it for just the perfect time.  This weekend Mom and Dad had a big Halloween party (Dad said they do it every year) and I dressed up as a Cow.  You'll have to check out Mom's blog in a few days, she's going to post pictures.  Mom had also gotten me a Snow White costume, but it was too cold for me so I was a snuggly warm cow instead.  Tomorrow is actually Halloween and Mom, Dad and I are going to stay home and hand out candy.  I'm not really big enough to eat candy and Mom and Dad are hoping that some of our new neighbors will come by with their kids so we can meet them.  I can't wait until I'm big enough to go out, I think it sounds like a lot of fun.

Outtakes:

"I'll take one more Kit-Kat please."

"Come on, just one Snickers...can't you tell I'm starved!"

Working on my Yoga poses...and giving a peace sign!  I'm multi-talented.

Week 10

This week's fabric came from Mom's friend, Heidi.  She said she picked it out because Daddy does construction and she thought he would like it too.  I also wonder if she thought I was going to be a boy.  Hehehe!  Mom and Dad really made everyone wait for that big surprise didn't they?

Outtakes:

"Power to the babies!"

Doing the "Fran-lean".

I'm just one happy baby!!

Week 9

This week's fabric came from Mom's cousin Karen.  Karen wasn't able to make it to the baby shower Grandma had for me, but Mom said that she knew exactly who bought this fabric when she saw it.  The peace signs and hearts were exactly something Karen would pick out.  I can't wait until I get to meet her someday!  She lives in Colorado so it might be a little while before I get to see her, but I hope she is seeing my blog posts.

Outtakes:

"Fist-bump"

Gross!!  An action shot of spitting up.  Thanks Mom...jeez!

Ah-Choo!!  I sneeze a lot.  And, every time I sneeze there are at least 3 or 4 of them.

Week 8

In honor of the first day of fall, Mom picked out this fabric for me.  She said Grandma got it for me and she told me about how the little girl is named Sally (just like Grandma!).  Oh, and the little doggy is really named Snoopy but Grandma liked it because it reminder her of Ruby and Grandpa (Charlie Brown).

Mom says Fall is her favorite time of year and I have to agree.  Of course, I don't really know about any of the other seasons yet so I suppose I'll to wait a bit to make a real decision on that.

Outtakes:

"Why you hitting yourself?  Why you hitting yourself?"

See!  I do have a neck!

My sisters always like to help out.

I've got Mommy's tongue.
